Flicker is an 11 year old Staffordshire bull terrier, she is fairly small for her breed. She’s in foster care in Ruegley, Staffordshire, through Safe Rescue who stepped in to help her after she her time was almost up as a stray at the pound.

This is sadly a common fate for this breed and they are passed around and abandoned all too often, through no fault of their own. Flicker is looking for her forever home for her golden years where she’s not under threat of being discarded yet again.

Her fosterer says… “She is gorgeous! She will need to be only dog or with a super chilled submissive dog as she’s had a few growls at Barney but because he ignores her it doesn’t escalate. She is fully house trained, absolutely loves kids, sits, gives paw, cuddles up and snores on your lap.

“She does pull on the lead but loves her walks and is still very active. She loves playing fetch with the ball or kong. She is so easy to foster!

If you can offer lovely Flicker the secure and loving home she deserves, please contact Safe Rescue as follows:
