Joey-2 (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

24/1/20 – We are very pleased to hear that Joey-2 has now found a home!

Joey-2 is a sweet 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier type who is at Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. The rescue doesn’t restrict its rehomings to the local area, but does require a minimum of three visits to the dog in question.

Joey will make a perfect companion dog for his new person. He loves cuddles but equally enjoys having his own space. Joey is quite an anxious boy who needs a quiet, adult-only home, preferably a one-person household. He needs to be your only pet and ideally would prefer to live in a quiet location with not many visitors.

Lovely Joey is a great traveller and he quickly falls asleep on a journey. He is good with being left alone, as long as he has something to distract him. Exercise wise, Joey needs around 30 minutes to an hour of walking each day and he enjoys a potter around the garden as well.

He is neutered. He has some stiffness in his hips, which might lead to arthritis when he is older – he has Loxicom for when he has flareups.

Could Joey be your new best friend?
