22/09/2020 – Mira has been reserved and the rescue are confident it’s a good match. Hooray!

Friendly Mira is a medium-sized Crossbreed with possibly some Pointer in the mix and she is believed to be around 8 years old. Safe Rescue are helping her to find the loving home she deserves and she is currently living in a foster home in Beaconsfield, Bucks.

Mira and her daughter were rescued when their owner in Romania decided he didn’t want females any more and intended to drive them to a forest and abandon them. Thankfully, they were saved them from being left to this terrible fate.

Mira is a friendly and affectionate girl who does physically look like she’s had a rough life. Not surprising when someone who can dump their dog in a forest probably doesn’t treat them very kindly up to that point.

Mira clearly has had lots of puppies and limps on one leg after exercise. She walks well on a lead but only wants short, gentle walks with nothing too excessive. She is very friendly with other dogs but early signs do not look hopeful for her being cat-friendly.

Mira is neutered, microchipped and an adoption fee and home check apply.
