5/1/2021 Sweet Polly has been quickly reserved after being seen on the Oldies Club website and is ready to go home soon.

Sweet Polly is a very loving lady who loves cuddles and is now following her foster Mum everywhere. She arrived from Romania in September and has slowly settled into living in a foster home in Redditch, Worcestershire, under the care of Cloud K9 Rescue. She was reserved but, sadly, this fell through after weeks of waiting to go home due to the Covid pandemic.
Polly is approximately 8 years old and about the size of a Border Collie. Sadly, she has spent the last two years in a Romanian public shelter and it was her sad and resigned face that made the Rescue want to help her and her sweet nature is now shining through.
Polly is looking for a calm, patient home as she is quite sensitive to noisy households. Therefore, she would be happiest in a home without children and few visitors. She bonds well with women, welcoming her foster mum with lovely hugs when she has been out. Any men in the house would need to be experienced with nervous dogs and be patient and gentle with her whilst she builds her confidence and realizes that not all men are bad.
Polly lives with several other dogs at present and whilst she gets on well with the small ones, she’s not keen on big dogs, so either a home with no dogs or maybe a small dog is preferable. She thinks cats are for chasing and needs a cat-free home.
Polly likes nothing more than to lay in front of the fire and have a snooze, but she is equally happy to go for a nice walk. Polly is house-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night. She can be left for short periods but does not like being shut in a room on her own. She will settle in a crate, but only for short periods of time.
Polly is such a sweet girl and really deserves a warm, cosy retirement home where she can forget the horror of where she has come from and live her future with a full tummy and all the head rubs she can cope with. Polly is a clean girl in the house as well. Her pawfect home must be out there somewhere.
Polly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
