13/4/20 – Scooby has found a home. Wonderful!

Scooby is an adorable 13-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who is at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Scooby was taken to Freshfields, after his owner sadly died, by a relative who spent the day driving around all of the local rescue centres to find one that could help.

Cuddly Scooby is a gorgeous, easy-going and friendly old gentleman. He has such a placid, sweet nature and is happy to make friends with anyone he meets. He particularly enjoys spending the day snoozing on the sofa, bless him.

Scooby arrived with some medical concerns which are being investigated and which Freshfields will be able to discuss with you if you enquire. He is managing well on pain relief and still has a spring in his step.

Scooby is an affectionate boy who loves cuddles. He needs a calm, quiet household where he will have company for most of the day. He seems unfazed by other dogs, but due to his age Freshfields feel that he would be best suited to being the only dog in his new home. He has never been around cats. Scooby could live with sensible children over the age of 12.

He would love a big garden to potter around in as he really isn’t up for much walking, although he is still sprightly for his age.

Could you offer Scooby a home where he can be with you most of the day, snoozing in a cosy bed or on the sofa.
