16/11/2021: Archie has been adopted! Hooray!

Beautiful boy Archie is a 7 year old Border Collie in the care of Active Animals Rescue & Rehabilitation. He’s currently in a foster home in Caithness in the Highlands of Scotland and can be rehomed anywhere in Scotland.

Archie can live with one or two other calm dogs, as long as everyone gets on well. Cats are a no thank you, as are children. He needs a peaceful home with Collie-experienced owners.

Being a Collie, Archie is super intelligent and needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Ball games are always welcome! He needs to know his human is at least as brainy as he is and will always be calm and in control of things.

Collies are not usually adept at walking on the lead, what with naturally wanting to run in huge circles rather than sedately in a straight line. Archie is eager to please though and loves taking his human for a walk…

He’s an adventurous boy and, apparently, needs a secure garden with fences at least five and a half feet tall. Sounds like there’s a story there!

Once Archie decides you’re worthy of his trust and respect, he will do whatever it takes to please you. He’s the sort of very special dog whose love is a real honour to have. When it’s yours, it’s yours for good and he will amuse and dote on you forever!

Archie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s lively and a lot of fun. Not always dignified…

…sometimes willful…

…but always adorable!
