Happily, Beth has been saved from a Romanian shelter and is now settling well in her foster home in Hingham, Norfolk, provided by Safe Rescue. She is house-trained and settles well through the night.
Beth is a 7 year old Crossbreed (Spaniel size). She can be hand-shy at first with new people but, once she knows you, she loves a fuss. She can be jealous at first if you are not fussing her but, once told she is fine, she loves to play with other dogs. She would suit a multi-dog household as long as positive reinforcement is in place, or could live in an only dog household as long as she had interaction during the week with other dogs.
Beth is working hard to get used to going out on the lead and she is starting to enjoy her walks, but further lead training will be needed and work to get her used to everyday life. Any children in the home will need to be aged 12+ because of her hand-shyness and she chases birds so will not suit any home with wildlife. Beth has not been cat-tested.
Beth is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue.
