19/01/2021 – Magda has been adopted! Hooray!

Magda is a dear girl who was rescued from a public shelter in Romania due to be closed when all remaining dogs were to be killed. The shelter was notoriously hard and most of the dogs rescued from there were terrified of people and needed rehabilitation. It has been two years since her rescue, but she only got her chance to come to the U.K. a few weeks ago with the help of Safe Rescue and is now safely living in a foster home in Camberley, Surrey.

Magda is a medium-sized, female Labrador Cross. Her passport states her to be 10 years old but she may be younger. Understandably, she is slightly nervous, especially around some men. She is still quite active and is now enjoying her walks and a comfy bed.

Magda likes being made a fuss of but doesn’t yet come looking for it; this may change with more time. She is looking for a forever home with lots of love and attention and could be the only pet or with another dog. She could live with a family with older children if they respect her space, but no cats.

Magda needs someone fairly experienced and patient with enough love in their heart to work towards the day that she will love them back. She is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
