Described as shining bright like a “star”, Star is looking for a new home with that someone special to make her life complete. Currently, she is being cared for by Leicester Animal Aid and it would be wonderful if she could go home in time for a cosy Christmas.

Star is a bubbly, chatty, 9 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Like most Staffies, she is a very loving and playful girl, so don’t let her age fool you. She loves making new human friends and would do anything for a cuddle.

Star can get a little over-excited at times and would need someone steady who can be patient in reminding her to keep her paws on the ground. Aptly named, she feels it is time to shine and she is quite good at letting you know if she wants to play with the use of her voice and hopes you’re up for a good chat!

As Star has spent most of her life as an only dog already, she would certainly prefer it to remain that way in her new home. There may be one or two dogs that she meets out and about that take her fancy, but, on the whole, she prefers to stick with human company where possible. Star wouldn’t say “no” to a home with older, teenage children; she knows what would be fun it would be to get as many extra cuddles as she can.
