23/11/22 – Barney’s found a home!

Barney is a small Crossbreed and is around 7 years old. He came into the care of Safe Rescue recently from another rescue which had sadly been forced to relocate their dogs. He’s now enjoying the comforts of a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, waiting for his new owner to take him home.

Barney is a sweet and affectionate boy once he gets to know you, but he will be a little hesitant upon first meeting. He had never been on a lead prior to coming into Safe Rescue’s care but he is getting used to wearing one and starting to enjoy his walks. He will need further confidence building with this in the coming weeks.

Barney enjoys the company of other dogs and will need at least one other dog in his forever home. He could also live with dog-savvy children aged ten plus.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Barney’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
