28/11/2022 Bella is very happy to report that she has found her new home.

Bella is a delightful little Jack Russell Terrier X Papillion of 12 years. She’s in the care of Leicester Animal Aid and is looking for an owner or two who will appreciate her uniqueness.
Bella wants an adult only home. She loves her toys and a squeaky toy will keep her amused for a long time. She has strong views on toy ownership though. They’re all hers by rights and will tell anyone this if they seem unsure.
Bella is a big character in a tiny body. She’s affectionate with those she comes to trust but only ever on her terms. You have to be prepared to wait for her to approach you for fuss…
…but it’s worth the wait.
Bella wants to be the only pet at home. She passes other dogs OK at a distance but she really doesn’t want to have to interact and certainly wouldn’t consider sharing her toys or her people! She has to stay on the lead for walks or she’ll be off chasing squirrels and completely forget where you are. Terrier experienced people should understand this well enough!
Bella is very food focussed and is easy to, well, bribe. She’ll always have her quirks but treat-based distraction can be helpful. One thing her owners will need to remember is that she doesn’t like having her ears touched. It’s easy enough to avoid them, sizeable though they are, and to tell anyone who gains the honour of Bella’s affection. Life with Bella is fun and entertaining. When her needs are met she’s a sunny little sweetheart!
