Defa (Dogs Trust Merseyside, Liverpool)

8-year-old crossbreed boy Defa was first with Dogs Trust Merseyside 8 years ago when he was a teeny tiny pup.

He’s grown into a very handsome chap who is still active and loves his walks on the beach. He really enjoys exploring new places and likes to make sure that he has given everywhere a thorough nosing before relaxing into some playtime. Defa is happy being made a fuss of and will lean into you for maximum coverage!

Defa will be perfectly happy as the only dog at home as he does seem to become a little stressed around other dogs. Dogs Trust were told that he will chase cats, so no felines please. He’s such a lovely boy and should be fine to live with children aged 8 and over.

He’s very friendly in general and should be fine with visitors. Defa is housetrained but might take a litle while to get used to a new routine. He can be left home alone for a couple of hours once he’s settled. He is happy to get in the car. Defa has a little arthritis for which he requires ongoing pain relief.

Could you offer Defa a happy life?
