Duke is an energetic 8-year-old Labrador who loves attention and wants to be everyone’s friend. He is is with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in Algakirk, South Lincolnshire.
He is looking for a home with active people who will continue to manage his weight loss so that he has a waist once again and will no doubt feel better in himself. He LOVES water, swimming and splashing, which all helps him shed some weight.
He needs to live somewhere with access to quiet walks, as he is dog reactive and very strong on the lead. However, he is working hard on improving this. He travels well so a secure field would also be great for him to enjoy and would minimise the chances of other dogs being present.
He can live with children over 14 years of age but needs to be your only pet. Your garden must have 6ft fencing. Over time, if built up very slowly, he could be left for up to 4 hours.
