26/8/22 – Lovely Flossy has been adopted

Pretty Flossy is a medium-sized Collie type Cross of around ten years old. She was brought to the U.K. from a shelter in Romania by another rescue. She then came into Safe Rescue care to be lead trained and is now ready for a new home. Meantime, she’s enjoying home life in foster care in Norwich, Norfolk, while she waits for the perfect home she deserves.

Flossy is a quiet and sweet little girl who now enjoys her walks. She likes a fuss and will subtly sidle up to you for a fuss after a day or two. She is quite food motivated and will happily take treats from new people. Flossy would like a quiet household with no children under the age of ten though visiting children would be okay.

Flossy is still a little wary of having a lead put on due to past experiences, but she is improving daily in this area. Flossy gets on okay with other dogs with similar quiet temperaments to hers. She is not on board with young dogs playing around her and will tell them so in no uncertain terms. Flossy will need another dog in her forever home for confidence.

Flossy is such a sweet-natured girl who deserves the perfect retirement home free from chaos and worry. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Flossy’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
