Please help Monty by sharing this page!

Darling Monty is a 9-year-old, medium sized Crossbreed boy in foster care in Wavertree, Liverpool through Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary. He wants an adult-only home with no other pets so he can, quite rightly, be the centre of attention!

Monty is a really affectionate boy who loves a fuss from anyone who’s kind to him but he bonds especially strongly with his own humans. He has a slightly deformed front paw which doesn’t bother him but does mean he only has short walks, 2 or 3 times a day.

This absolute sweetie is full or character. He loves his toys and he loves treats!

He generally walks nicely on the lead. He has been muzzle trained but don’t panic! This gives a warning to other dog owners that he might bark at their dogs but he’s under control. With his slight disability, he’s easy enough to manage for a reasonably fit person.

He’s had some sessions with a dog trainer who is happy to advise his adopters on how to have relaxed walks with him. He’s such a loving and engaging boy that he’s well worth investing in.

Monty is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His wonky paw doesn’t need any treatment at the moment but it’s possible he’ll develop arthritis in it when he’s older. That’s similar to any older dog’s joints so please don’t let it deter you from enquiring about this big-hearted boy!
