Monty (Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary, fostered Liverpool)

Monty is a very sweet boy who bonds strongly with anyone who shows him kindness and love. He is currently living in a foster home in Wavertree, Liverpool provided by Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary who will rehome him only in Merseyside and surrounding areas.

Monty is a 9 year old, medium-sized, Romanian Crossbreed and is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. His favourite things are fuss, treats and toys. He will make a truly wonderful companion as he is a devoted and faithful friend. His perfect home would be with someone who has no pets or children.

Monty loves going for short walks and walks well on a lead. He can bark at other dogs but this is easily managed by someone dog-savvy and physically capable of handling a medium-sized, disabled dog. He will also need someone happy to continue muzzle training with him for walks. Monty’s dog trainer is happy to discuss him with any potential adopters and his background will also be discussed in much further detail.

Monty does have a deformity in one of his front paws which affects his mobility. The deformity causes him no pain and he gets along just fine; however, he could develop arthritis as he gets older.
