26/8/22 – Rosie has a new home lined up!

Rosie is a 9-year-old independent little lady who is with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in Algakirk, South Lincolnshire.
Rosie loves to do her own thing and needs a quiet home with a family who will be understanding and not insist on handling her and showering her with love from the off. She is not fond of being picked up or being loomed over and would much prefer to sit on your knee and share a cheese sandwich than be fussed.
She loves to play, and chasing flies around the room is her favourite game! She enjoys a game of tug, and fetch, and is a real live wire.
Rosie needs to be the only dog in her new home, but would benefit from meeting dog friends on walks. She could potentially live with a cat, however this could only be after a successful meeting, so if you have a cat you must live close to the centre to allow a cat-test to be carried out in your home. Rosie could live with children aged 11 and over, as long as they are well-mannered, calm and will not want to stroke her.
She has the potential to be left for 4 hours if this time is slowly built up. Your garden will need at least a 3ft fence, which is fully secure, as she will squeeze out! Could you offer Rosie exactly the type of home she needs?
