Stan (Safe Rescue, fostered Norwich)

26/8/22 – Rehomed!

Shy Stan was rescued from a squalid public shelter having spent most of his life behind bars there and taken to a safe shelter with significantly better conditions until he could come to the U.K. and into the care of Safe Rescue. Stan was quickly adopted last June but has just been returned due to a change in domestic circumstances, and he’s currently living in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.

Stan is a 7 – 8 year old, medium-sized Crossbreed. He is initially quite shy with new people and prefers people not to touch him until he knows them a little better (which is fair enough!). Once he trusts you, he will wag his little stumpy tail when he sees you and is a sweet and friendly boy.

Stan is looking to be an only dog but could live with a calm bitch if required. He enjoys his walks and trots along very nicely on a lead. He will need an adult family, and someone who has the understanding and patience not to rush him will gain a wonderful new member to their family.

Stan is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Stan’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
