William is a very handsome 10 year old Border Collie who is with RSPCA Tameside and Glossop branch.

William is an active lad whose owner sadly has died, leaving William without a home. The photos aren’t great quality, but William’s star quality is certainly evident.

He is a really lovely, affectionate boy who is used to people and is good with sensible children. He hasn’t lived with other animals, but he seems fine with dogs, so with careful introductions he may be OK. He doesn’t seem over interested in cats or other small furries.

He can be left for a few hours but not all day, and he travels OK. William will need regular exercise and once he’s built up his stamina can probably do quite long walks and free running. He is quite excitable when on a lead so will need some training.

He hasn’t been neutered and the RSPCA branch advise any adopter to take their own vet’s advice. The vet who gave him a thorough health check said he couldn’t believe that William is 10 as he is in excellent condition his teeth are in great shape.

Could you offer this fabulous boy a new home?
