26/7/23 – Lovely Lizzie has a new home lined up already – well done, Lizzie!
———————–

Lizzie is a lovely 9-year-old tri-colour Wire Fox Terrier, with a clipped coat, who is in the care of the Wire Fox Terrier Association Welfare and Rehoming Scheme in Shropshire.

Lizzie is a very loving girl who would like to be the only pet in the home. She would be a perfect companion for a retired person or couple. She can be left for short periods, but would prefer to have her owner(s) around most of the time. She sleeps in her bed but she does enjoy a cuddle on the sofa.

She travels really well in the car. Lizzie enjoys her walks and is good on the lead, but it is advised that she is not allowed off lead unless she is in a very secure area. During her younger years she did have puppies. She has always been a fit girl and at her recent health check she was given a clean bill of health. Lizzie is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Could you offer Lizzie a wonderful home?

Contact Wire Fox Terrier Association Welfare and Rehoming Scheme as follows:

The first step is to complete the Wire Fox Terrier Association online application form – click here and scroll down to the form

Wire Fox Terrier Association’s rehoming policy:We can only process applications for rehoming once we have received a completed online application form. Once received our Welfare Coordinator will review and if the initial criteria for the dog applied for has been met we will arrange a call with you to discuss the application further. Once we have done the required checks and are happy we can then arrange a meeting for you with the dog. Wire Fox Terriers are not a large breed in terms of numbers, therefore not many are available to rehome each year – as a guide a drive of up to 4 hrs (roundtrip) to see/collect a dog is not unusual. Occasionally depending on circumstances we can help to deliver or meet half way but this MUST with be prior arrangement. All our dogs go to their new homes with 5 weeks free insurance. All dogs will have been spayed/castrated unless there is a medical reason for this not to be the case. All dogs will be fully vaccinated and microchipped. There is a rehoming contract and a rehoming fee applies. Dogs are not rehomed with KC papers. Regular contact is made during the settling in period. WFTA welfare and rehoming will provide on going support during the dogs lifetime (NB we are not able to provide financial support)“.

Please mention that you saw Lizzie on the Oldies Club website.
