Petal is the perfect couch potato! She’s now ready to find herself a forever home with the help of Active Animals Rescue & Rehab. She’s currently being cared for in a home in Bognor Regis in West Sussex.
Petal is a lovely, quiet Crossbreed and is 7 years old (born 12/7/2016). She loves her cuddles and tummy rubs, etc. Initially, she can be scared of some men and will bark but, once she realises there are no issues, she will be daddy’s little girl.
Petal loves a walk which is great as she won’t toilet in the garden. Her recall is brilliant but she does have a prey drive and will happily spend 1/2 hr chasing after rabbits before coming back. Because of this, no cats or small furries can be in the home and she would prefer to be the only dog or with another calm one.
Petal is very food-oriented and will guard her food from other dogs but is fine with humans. She was returned to the Rescue very overweight, so her new owners would have to be willing to continue with her diet.
Petal is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations and flea treatment. Meet and greets are a must and so is a home check.
