7/3/24 – We are so pleased to hear that Dixie has found a new home!
——————-

Dixie (aka Miss Norwich!) is a beautiful 8 year old Dobermann who is being rehomed by Lincs Dobermann Rescue, and is in Lincolnshire.

Poor Dixie was abandoned in the pound when her owners declined to pay the fee for her. Lincs Dobermann Rescue took Dixie into their care and she now nees to find a permanent home.

Gorgeous Dixie is a happy lady who will make someone a wonderful companion. She has always got her happy face on! All she really needs is a comfy resting spot, a garden in which to play, run and sniff, and to be the only dog in the home.

She is no bother in the home and is quite happy to relax on her bed or another comfy spot while things go on around her. She is housetrained and can be left home alone – she has no destructive tendencies.

Dixie will walk on lead in the vicinity of other dogs without a fuss, but stopping and talking to a fellow dog owner might not suit her as she’s not keen when another dog gets right into in her space. She’s not been assessed off lead with other dogs in the same area, but she has interacted through a fence with a male Dobie: she stalks him and then, once close enough, gets giddy and play bows at him.

She is great with people but hasn’t been assessed around children. She’s not been cat tested. There are donkeys at her foster home and she is relaxed around them.

Lincs Dobermann Rescue will cover Dixie’s medical costs for the rest of her life.

Could you offer happy Dixie the lovely new home she deserves?
