Dolly (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Dolly, or Dolly Pawton as she’s affectionately known, was found on the streets of Romania during a Safe Rescue trip. She had a litter of puppies with her but the volunteer had to leave them that day due to not having anywhere to put them. The next day, she returned to get them but sadly only one pup was left and the others have never been seen again. Dolly’s puppy will join the Rescue shortly but, for now, Dolly is here looking for a much deserved, forever home.

Dolly Pawton is a medium to large Crossbreed and is about 8 years old. She is enjoying life in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, until she can go home. She is a friendly and affectionate lady with a calm and placid nature. You can tell that she’s had a hard life and the fact that she was still producing puppies at her age means she really, really needs a pampered and calm retirement home now.

Dolly can live or without other dogs and would be fine with respectful children aged 8+ years. She surely deserves the very best life for her twilight years.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Dolly’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
