Lovely Ramon is a smallish Crossbreed aged around 7 years old. She grew up in a private shelter in Romania and, being black, she was overlooked for years as other dogs came and went. She came into the care of Safe Rescue a few weeks ago as she stands a much better chance of being adopted now that she’s in a U.K. foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.
Ramona is initially quite shy, but when she gets used to people, she’s a lovely little character who loves a fuss. She gets on great with other dogs but could also live happily as an only dog in the home.
Ramona would like a calm environment in her forever home with no children under 12 years old. She is learning to walk well on a lead but will need to gain confidence out and about which comes only with experience and practice.
Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
