Hana & Louis (Nirina Dog Adoptions, fostered Norfolk)

UPDATE 28/8/25 Hana and Louis are now able to be rehomed separately….they are both such dear dogs that deserve their wonderful forever homes

These two sweethearts are Hana (12 years, 10kgs) and Louis (8 years), both small Crossbreeds currently in a foster home in Norfolk through Nirina Dog Adoptions.

Previously they were having a tough time in Romania.

Since coming here for a proper, comfortable life, they’ve both relaxed and come out of their shells.

Hana and Louis are looking for a peaceful home, with not many comings and goings, but plenty of walks, food and fuss.

Louis is looking to be the only dog in the home as he can be a bit fearful of others, but Hanna could easily live with another doggy friend. They’re good in the car but Hanna does have very short legs so she might need to be lifted in.

She’s not a fan of being left alone and will need a home where someone can be there most of the time, so she can snooze in peace. This said, Hanna is described as an easy dog that could live with children, cats or other dogs.

Little Louis was extremely fearful when he first arrived and still gets tense when his collar is adjusted. He’s OK with people he trusts taking his collar off or putting it on and is quite happy to have his lead clipped on. He just needs a bit of extra consideration, as he was caught with a catch pole once and that was very scary for him. An experienced owner that he could learn to trust would be beneficial for Louis. Apart from that, he’s a soppy old sausage who loves tummy rubs!
