Victor is an 8-year-old Collie Crossbreed boy who is being rehomed by Dogs 4 Rescue in Manchester. Note that Dogs 4 Rescue generally only rehome within the North West area.
Gorgeous Victor lights up any room with his joyful energy and huge smile! He is happiest when enjoying the great outdoors, and he loves to be around other dogs so would like a home with at least one other dog. He has not yet been cat tested.
Victor would suit active people as he loves exploring. His favourite place to go is the beach, where he loves to run around with other dogs and dig in the sand. He is an independent boy, but he can be playful and affectionate. He particularly likes to play fetch.
Victor can be worried by small, confined spaces so he needs a home with adequate space and a secure garden. He has displayed some reactivity on lead around bikes, strangers and some dogs, so needs an experienced, confident owner capable of managing this. Victor needs an adult-only home and all introductions towards visitors will need to be done slowly and sensibly.
He needs boundaries putting in place in the home, especially during feeding times, but this can be easily managed, and Dogs 4 Rescue will offer advice.
Victor has been a huge hit since he arrived, and has fitted into life at the rescue better than they could have imagined. He’s a great dog who will make a fantastic companion for a sensible, experienced owner.
