Boycie’s Bridge Dog Rescue is looking for a permanent foster home for their lovely, older lady Toffee. Unfortunately, due to illness, she will not be able to return to her previous foster home and she needs a new home as soon as possible please.

Toffee is now around 16 years old and she needs a pet-free and child-free home, somewhere quiet, where she can have all the attention and potter around enjoying her retirement. She’s had a rough few months; she suffered a stroke, which has left her a little wobbly, she then lost her foster home and recently lost her best friend Podge. Toffee is not tolerating living with another dog well and she wants to be an only dog now.

Toffee will need a fully enclosed garden, as an older dog she needs regular toilet breaks. She does enjoy short walks daily too. She is well-behaved in the house but would like someone around a majority of the time as she enjoys the company.

As a foster carer, everything will be provided for Toffee and all vet treatment will be covered by the Rescue’s vets, with no cost to the fosterer. However, the carer will need to live within travel distance of one of their vet practices at either the Stafford, Stone or Bloxwich branch.
