Lottie (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Having spent the majority of her life in a shelter in Romania, sweet Lottie really deserves to spend her twilight years in a warm and loving home. A real home bod, Lottie loves nothing more than dozing on the sofa knowing you are close by. She is 9yrs old and looking for her forever home through Safe Rescue, waiting in her foster home in Mattishall, Norfolk.

Lottie is a medium sized, crossbreed lady and is very laid back. She is happy and friendly, but is still a little hand shy, probably as she has had very little affection in the past. With gentle hands and a quiet environment, Lottie will learn that her humans only want the best for her and will thrive once loving human contact is a constant in her life.

Lottie is oblivious to cats and can also live with or without other dogs. She gets on well with other dogs, but is really not bothered if they are there or not, so could easily be the only dog in the home. Lottie loves food and adores her home comforts. You can see her smiling when her head meets the cushion and she can dream to her hearts content.

Her past life did not consist of walks, so this has all been a new experience for her, and boy does she love this new found joy ! Lottie is just waiting to move into her forever home. Could that be with you ?

Please note: When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period.
