  • Kye (AARU, Notts)

    2/4/09 – AARU have sent us this very sad update on Kye….”Sadly, Kye was a victim of his breeding, indifference by his previous owners and many, many months of pain and suffering with his eye condition. He developed into a possessive, aggressive and dangerous dog and no amount of care, behavioural training and attention could repair the damage to his mental health. Rest now in peace, Kye- so much loved by your foster parents and wept for by those who knew of your torment”

  • Super Scamp (Oldies Club, fostered Plymouth)

    3/11/09 Sadly poor Scamp has been suffering from dementia recently and has had to be put to sleep. He had a wonderful loving home, as you can see from his rehoming story here on the website. He will be greatly missed by his family. Sleep tight Scamp.

  • Chavez in her new home (Oldies Club)

    1.8.10 We are so sad to report that Chavez has died at the grand old age of 17. Her family are devasated to lose her but she had become unwell and unable to walk unaided so they had to make the decision to let her go. The amazing age she reached is testament to the love & care they gave her. Chavez really couldn’t have wished for a better retirement home. Everyone at the OldiesClub sends their love and sympathy to her family. We’ll all miss those wonderful updates on her exploits. Run free Chavez.

  • Sheena’s Story (The Ark, Lincolnshire)

    Sheena had a very sad story to tell when she arrived at The Ark in Lincolnshire. She waited a long time for her new home, but it was worth waiting for, as she tells us in an update on her new life. 4/7/10 Updated with the sad news that Sheena has sadly passed away.
