19/2/2010 Poor Sandy has sadly passed away. He had received a clean bill of health and was out on a home trial with a new family. His passing was peaceful. Sleep tight Sandy :(

This handsome face belongs to Sandy, a 9 year old Labrador/GSD cross who was saved from the pound with literally hours to go.  He’s now safe in the care of Ruffluck Rescue and is hoping for a new forever home where he can settle down and enjoy life.

Sandy is described as the perfect pet.  He’s a very friendly, placid and gentle natured boy who loves cuddles. He travels well in the car, is housetrained and is good with children and cats.    He is excellent with other dogs, walks well on and off the lead and can be left for a reasonable amount of time.

Sandy is about labrador size and as you can see, is slightly overweight at the moment.    He will make a fantastic addition to any family.
