Cute Jack is a 10 year old Jack Russell cross.   He is a resident of the National Animal Welfare Trust in Berkshire having been transferred there from another branch where he was constantly overlooked.

Jack is a good boy with a few tricks up his sleeve. The picture shows him doing ‘beg’ but everyone thinks it’s his meerkat impression!  He has been known to be a bit protective of his food and bed but this can be easily managed and any member of staff will be happy to explain further.   Jack does like getting up for cuddles though!

Jack enjoys getting out and about and has been fine with dogs he’s met so far.  He would probably be happy to live with a calm dog who will not make him jump as his his eyesight and hearing are not as sharp these days.  Jack would prefer a home without small children as he does like his peace and quiet.  However, he has previously lived with a cat and may be happy to share again as long as the cat is dog savvy.

Please don’t be put off by Jack’s past as he is a lovely dog, just looking for a warm lap to cuddle on before winter really sets in.
