Update 29/03/2012 – We have an offer of a lovely new foster home for Peggy! She will be moving there very shortly. Peggy will be available for rehoming once she has had a chance to recover from her operation and is fully assessed.

Little Peggy is a small terrier cross who is gentle and doesn’t need much exercise. Peggy has just been spayed and needs some TLC while she gets over the operation. Peggy loves cuddles and is very affectionate and loving. She enjoys sunbathing in the garden.
Sadly, Peggy is not getting on with the very frail elderly dog in her current foster home and we urgently need to move her to another foster home that is not too far from her current foster home in the West Midlands, perhaps in Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Cannock, West Bromwich or Birmingham areas. All Peggy’s vet bills will be covered by Oldies Club until she is ready for her forever home.
Peggy is used to having other dogs about and is generally good with them, but she will defend her bed and she’s not feeling too well at the moment. Peggy would be better with a slightly more robust dog or dogs that will take the hint and leave her alone until she is feeling better, and will not get too upset if she does tell them off.
Peggy is clean in the house when you are about, and is very sweet and generally well behaved – but she has shown some signs of stress if she is left for more than a couple of hours, and may make a mess.
We are hopeful that this may settle down once she is over her operation and has had a chance to get to know her fosterers but at the moment she needs someone who will be around most of the time.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has fostered dogs before, or who has had a recent homecheck from another rescue, though if you think you can help but are not yet homechecked, please do get in touch.
