17/8/14 Sad news about lovely old Billy. His hips became so painful that he couldn’t stand and the kindest things was to put him to sleep. Sweet dreams now Billy.

Billy is a 10 year old cuddly Lurcher that just loves to be with you. He is being rehomed by Moorlands Rescue, a few miles south of Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Billy would like a quiet home with a large garden. He enjoys peace and quiet but he could live with older children. Billy has been in foster with 2 other dogs, but he can get nervous when meeting dogs out and about.

In foster he settled within 24 hours and was letting himself out to toilet. Billy has been used as a lamping dog in the past – he is a little on edge at night and has a bit of scarring to his muzzle.

Billy has some arthritis in his hips and is receiving medication and supplements, so hopefully his hips might improve over time. Billy loves to play ball. He is only being walked on-lead.

Billy is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and has been wormed and flea treated.
