26/6/14 Jess has very sadly had to be put to sleep :(

This pretty girl is called Jess and she is looking for a new home with the help of the National Animal Welfare Trust in Berkshire. Jess would like to introduce herself:
Hello, my name is Jess and I am a 13 year old Beagle cross who came in to the centre because I was struggling to cope with the young children in my previous home.
I am a little bit blind and quite deaf which is probably why I found the young toddler in the house too much. I do bond closely with my owners and I am finding it hard here due to not having them to lean on.
I am ok with other dogs however I prefer quieter ones who won’t accidently bump me and take me by surprise. If I see cats I do try to chase them so I am unable to live with them.
I enjoy my walks and I definitely have a Beagle nose! I am a lovely girl who just needs a quiet home with a comfortable bed for me to curl up in at night and a couple of nice walks a day. Are you the one for me?
If you can offer Jess a forever home, please contact the National Animal Welfare Trust as follows:
Please mention that you saw Jess on the Oldies Club website.
