5/4/18 – Bruce has found a home!

This big old lump of love is Bruce or, as he is affectionately known, Big Bruce. At 27 kilos, this super-size staffy has a heart big enough to match his size. Despite ill treatment in the past, 7 year old Bruce is a gentle soul who warms the hearts of everybody who has met him at Rescue Remedies.
Bruce’s former family (and we use that term loosely) tried to sell him online for £1. Surely this wonderful boy is worth much more than that – his love and devotion are priceless and whoever adopts him will have a loving friend for life.

Poor Bruce lived outside, exposed to the elements for 4 long years. Now that he has been rescued, he gets all the love and cuddles he has missed out on at Rescue Remedies. But what he would really love is for one person or family to whom he can devote himself. He has so much love to give.
Bruce loves people so much that he occasionally refused to go back into his kennel or let his walkers go, but he has improved with this, now that he knows people will come back for him.

“I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic Big Bruce is. When I went in to harness him, he was the perfect gentleman, patiently humouring me as I put his harness on back-to-front(!), and then standing to attention while I rectified the situation. Leaving his kennel, he passed all his fellow residents so calmly and heading off on our walk together he proved to be an exceptional companion.”
Bruce does have arthritis but this is managed with medication.
It is about time Bruce has got to see what living in a family really means. He is not asking for so much, just love and security and a warm place to rest his bones. Can you offer him that?
