15/2/18 – Coda has found his new home!

Coda is a 9 year old Alaskan Malamute being looked after by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. He could live with dog savvy children from age 12 and it’s believed he could possibly live with another calm dog, if introductions go well.

His fur will grow back nicely after having to be shaved off when he arrived, because of his previous neglect. Poor old Coda!

Coda is a very affectionate boy. He enjoys company and loves a fuss. He was previously neglected so any attention he gets now, makes him really happy! He also LOVES to talk to you! Malamutes being famous for their mumbles and “woo-woo” sounds.

Last Chance say, “Coda is very good on the lead, he doesn’t pull and is not too strong. In an enclosed area he always comes back to us to play and for a fuss. He doesn’t play with many toys he just prefers the toys where he can get treats out of them.

“He does have hip dysplasia so he can be unsteady on his back legs when he gets over excited and jumps up. He’s not yet neutered but he will be. He does need a little more socialising with other dogs but possibly a calm female or even a calm male would maybe be okay to live with. He was OK with other dogs but now he tends to bark at all dogs and the kennels are making him more and more stressed.”

If you can offer this loving, soon-to-be-fluffy-again boy the kindness he so richly deserves, please contact Last Chance Animal Rescue as follows:
