22/11/17 – Laddy and Joey have found a home!
Meet Laddy and Joey, two super sweet little canines needing a home through no fault of their own. Laddy and Joey’s previous owner is unfortunately too ill to care for them, so has made the very difficult decision to rehome them so they can continue to have a wonderful life. Both boys are now in a Pro Dogs Direct foster home in Wallington, Surrey.
Laddy is a 9½ year old Lhasa Apso and his pal, Joey, is a Lhasa Apso cross and aged 5½ years. These boys are very clean in the home and they are closely bonded so would like to stay together if at all possible. They have been used to human company for most of the day so will need a home with someone who is around quite a lot. They can be left for a short while, a couple of hours at a time perhaps, but not for prolonged periods.
Both boys walk very nicely on the lead and they enjoy getting out for walks. Laddy is much more sedate than Joey, and he’s happy to mooch along next to you on walks. They are sociable with other dogs and also travel well in the car.
Through the night Laddy and Joey sleep quietly together. They’ve previously been used to sleeping with their owner, but are adjusting okay to sleeping without her.
Laddy and Joey’s new family will need to keep an eye on food intake as they need to lose a few pounds. They both love their food and have been a little over indulged.
Laddy and Joey are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
