13/11/17 – Lilly has found a new home!

Lovely Lilly has been in her recent home for about 6 years after being rehomed by Ark Animal Rescue but, sadly, is back with them due to family circumstances.

Lilly is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Cross and is 7 1/2 years old. She is mainly a black dog with a small amount of brindle and is medium to large size. Lilly has been spayed and her vaccinations are being updated. She is fit and well and eats Burgess sensitive lamb and rice dry food.

Lilly is a lovely, friendly girl. She has lived with a child of 5 years and was fantastic, but has not lived with a cat and has rarely seen them. Nor has she lived with another dog and has been dog-aggressive since being attacked by one 2 1/2 years ago, so it’s best there are no other animals in the home. However, when she went to the vets recently, she showed no aggression to other dogs in the waiting room. She is not keen on baths or water.

Lilly has shown no aggression to people and has no food aggression. She’s well-behaved in kennels and at the vets, is house-trained and can safely be left for a reasonable time. She previously slept in the utility room and has been cage-trained in the past. She travels well in the car. Lilly pulls on the lead but is fine off it and has good recall. She’s not particularly interested in toys, will chase a ball but not retrieve it.
