2/11/17 – Mia has found a home

Mia is a 7 year old chocolate Labrador girl who is being rehomed by Friends of Animals Wales and is in a foster home in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Mia is a fabulously friendly girl who loves to play and cuddle, and she absolutely adores being touched. She is a little chubby at the moment but her bikini figure is gradually coming back.

Mia loves all humans, young and old. She is great with children but she sometimes forgets how big and bouncy she is and might send younger kiddies flying simply through natural exuberance. She is happy to be around other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She hasn’t been tested with cats.

In the home, Mia can be left if she has a few toys to play with. She is fully housetrained and she behaves like a lady at dinner time. She responds to basic commands but she does need reminding not to jump up. She feels that a wag of the tail isn’t quite sufficient as a demonstration of happiness and so she prefers to wag her entire body. She is an absolute sweetheart!

Out and about, Mia walks well on a halti but tends to pull a bit if on a collar and lead. Mia will fit into almost any home as long as she gets plenty of exercise and has people to play with. She is highly intelligent and responds well to training.

Mia is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Bracknell.
