22/1/18 – Snout has found her new home. Wonderful news!
——————–

Super Snout is a very sprightly, 12 year old, Staffy Cross (possibly with a Labrador) lady. She has a lovely pale brown coat and great big brown eyes. She quite a big girl, but perfectly proportioned, and looking for a loving home with the help of the Senior Staffy Club. Snout is kennelled in the Stafford area.

Snout loves her walks and she is quite strong for an older lady, pulling a little on her lead at first, although she calms down after a while and would probably be calmer with regular walks. Snout lived with a male dog for some time and they got on quite well, but she is quite dominant and certainly won’t share her food! So, she would be best as an only dog, although she may be able to live with a submissive male.

Snout was very good when she spent time recently in a home recovering from an operation. She was fine to be left for a few hours and slept through the night. She is not too much of a cat-chaser, but would probably be best in a home without a cat. She has not been around children much either, but has a nice temperament and would be fine with older children.

Snout has had pups in the past but has recently been spayed and is in good health. She travels really well in the car, settling down quietly after a few minutes. Snout looks as if she may have a few Labrador genes in her DNA – and she certainly likes her treats, which would seem to confirm it!
