28/10/17 – Willow has found a new home!

Gorgeous Willow is a 7 year old, black and tan, short-coated German Shepherd hoping to find a new home as her owner’s circumstances have changed and this lovely girl is now not getting the attention that she deserves. She is being rehomed by German Shepherd Dog Rescue in Essex.

Willow has been assessed to be a very gentle girl who took treats nicely, gave her paw and asked for a belly rub. Her previous owner did say that Willow can be wary of strangers, but this was not found to be the case with the assessor who did things at Willow’s pace, ignoring her at first until Willow felt comfortable to approach.

Willow walks really well on the lead. The owner did say Willow was reactive with other dogs and will chase cats. However, on the test walk she walked past a dog and cat with no reaction and was not bothered by other people walking past. Willow is looking for a pet-free home where any children are older.

Please consider having this lovely girl join your family so she can get the attention that she deserves.
