21/5/18 – Albert has found his new home!
—————–

Cute Albert is a very sweet, older chap who is currently spending time in a foster home with Teckels Animal Sanctuaries in Gloucester.

Albert is approximately 13 years old and is a small Jack Russell-type Terrier. He travels well in the car and is house-trained though he can have the odd accident if left too long. Albert walks nicely on the lead but doesn’t need a lot of exercise. He currently shares his foster home with another dog and could live with a pal as long as they are calm and respectful.

Albert has lots of love left to give and is very affectionate with his foster carers. He still has the typical terrier moments where he likes to play with his toys, loves treats and pottering around the garden.

Albert does have some medical issues which will be covered by Teckels, but he really is looking for a loving retirement home where he can get plenty of TLC and quiet time. He is nearly blind and a little deaf; he also has a heart condition which is being treated with medication. For this reason, a home with young children would not suit Albert.

Albert can be easily startled due to his eye sight and get worried when meeting new people, so he would like a home with adopters who don’t have many visitors and don’t take him to busy places. Teckels wants to ensure little Albert finds the best possible home to spend his remaining months.
