8/6/18 – Belle has found her new home!

For those who go easily into cute-overload mode, shield your eyes or else prepare to melt over the cuteness of Belle! Belle is a happy little girl who lived with the same owners all her life until they sadly were taken ill. Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Hertfordshire stepped in to help Belle find a new home. Belle is a Jack Russell terrier who is 10 years old.

Belle is a happy, gentle little soul who has obviously been very much loved and well cared for. She is a well-behaved girl both on and off lead, is relaxed travelling by car and is okay being left for a few hours. She adjusted quickly to her new surroundings and loves short daily walks (with frequent sniff breaks) and looks so beautiful and natural out among the bluebells in the woods.

Belle is a sweet girl who welcomed visiting grandchildren into her previous home. She is friendly with other dogs, but has not been exposed to cats in any prolonged fashion. She would love to have a big garden to explore, go for short walks and then settle into a nice cosy bed. She is a loving girl who is sure to be treasured by her lucky new owners as she deserves, especially after the recent upheaval in her life.

Belle has a grade 2 heart murmur. Currently she doesn’t need any medication, but may later on if it gets worse. She had a full dental when she arrived at CDRS and had 10 teeth extracted! Belle’s new owners should be aware of her heart condition, but this happy little lady does not need to be wrapped in cotton wool when there are so many new exciting things to sniff!

Can you offer this lovely girl the loving home she deserves? She will devote herself to you and supply endless love and enjoyment.
