4/11/18 – Gorgeous Bradley has been adopted!

Sweet old Bradley has spent his life on the streets and then 3 years at a shelter in Romania. He’s about 10 years old and is now with Love Underdogs in kennels in Waltham Abbey, Essex, waiting for the lovely life he truly deserves.
Medium-sized (21kg) Bradley is a little shy at first but he soon comes around, and his confidence is sure to grow once he’s been adopted. He spent a few days in a home with one of LU’s volunteers and he did ever so well. He was clean in the home and he enjoyed his walks. He was a bit cautious, as everything was new to him, but it won’t take him long to realise that homes are wonderful, comfortable and safe places to be.
Bradly would like a relaxed, adult-only home (LU never place senior dogs with children) where he will get lots of love and be taken for a couple of walks each day. He will be such a brilliant companion and just needs someone calm and patient who will let him come to them in his own time. He is very easy to have around and is a gentle soul. He would be OK to share with another calm dog but can’t live with small furries.
Trish, who had Bradley at home for a couple of days said: “Bradley is a lovely, sweet gentle old man, very clean in the house and will ‘ask’ to go out to the toilet. Although he is very timid at the moment (he runs for the garden when you approach him), if you offer him your hand he will come to you. He spent most of his time in the kitchen (he felt safe there with the kitchen door open) but also likes to know where you are and if he loses sight of you he will come and look for you. He so wants to be loved but finds it hard to relax, but he will sit and let you pet and fuss over him. He enjoys pottering about the garden, lying in the sun and a couple of walks (up to 25 mins), a day and has discovered squirrels are fun to ‘chase’ or in Bradley’s case, trot after. It’s been lovely having him and I hope to take him home again soon.”
