10/06/18 – Lovely Darcy has now found a home after having lots of interest as a result of her appearance on the Oldies Club website. Wonderful news!
——————-

Sweetie girl Darcy is a small to medium sized Crossbreed lady (possibly Patterdale X Whippet) believed to be around 7 years old. She’s in foster care in Derby through Pawprints To Freedom. She’d be happy living with other dogs, or as and only pet, but she had better not live with cats. She’s definitely part Terrier!

Her foster carer says, “She’s a dear, gentle little girl who deserves a lifetime of happiness. She has come on leaps and bounds from the terrified, shaking mess she was to the gentle, inquisitive, stunning little lady she is. Her ideal family would either be one with older kids or active older couple- she absolutely loves her walks.

“She likes to cuddle up on the sofa (if allowed) or she will roll on her back for tummy tickles. She rubs herself along the sofa, I think she thinks that if nobody is going to fuss her, the sofa feels just as nice so she does it for herself! She has ‘zoomies’ when she’s in a large open space…

“She also prances with her front legs when you get up in the morning and her bum wobbles when she runs down the stairs. She’s such a little character!”

Darcy is a very brave little girl (only 8kg!). Up until she was rescued, she’d been locked in a shed most of her life with hardly any positive interactions. She’s still quite timid…

…but after six months of being in a happy home, she’s getting the hang of good times now.

There is definitely a cheeky side waiting to come out. Signs of it are slowly appearing. She loves her food and will eat just about anything! She’s also shown she has a huge heart.

Darcy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and worm/flea treated. She’s had a dental and is top-tip condition.

If you can offer dear little Darcy the loving, forever home she deserves, please contact Pawprints To Freedom as follows:
