5/5/19 – Enzo has found a home!

Enzo is a 10 year old Akita. He is such a lovely, older boy now looking to be adopted with the help of Friends of Akitas. He was found as a stray in a bit of a state and, sadly, was going to be put to sleep. He was underweight, had infected ears and two testicular tumours. He has now recovered from his operation and has been given the all clear. He is feeling so much better and his character is coming out now he is pain-free and settled.
Enzo is so happy being outside just lying on the patio and he loves his walks; he gets very excited, grabbing the lead and dashing about. Enzo walks well on the lead and is always happy to meet new people while out. He doesn’t seem interested in other dogs on walks and is fine with female dogs, so he could live with a female after successful introductions. He’s not used to living with cats.
Enzo is laid-back and easy-going and is fine to live with older children. He loves being groomed and will stand up on his back legs so his foster carer can brush his belly. He also loves hugs from this position. For an older chap, he still has a lot of bounce in those legs.
Enzo is a good eater and is fed twice a day on dry food. He isn’t too bothered about playing with toys but does like to lie on the soft toys in his bed. He loves making his own bed and ragging his blankets about which is funny to watch.
