3/8/2018 Perfect Frankie has found his forever home … his foster carer just can’t let him go and he’s staying put!

Perfect all-rounder Frankie is a 10 year old, male, brindle Lurcher. He is currently in a foster home under the care of Dogsfriends in Somerset and he is looking for a retirement home where any children are 8+ years old due to his being an older, quieter gent.
Frankie is extremely gentle and so is perfect around other dogs. He could happily live with cats as he is disinterested in them so long as they leave him alone. He does not pull on walks, which he would love plenty of. Frankie does appear to have slight separation anxiety and so could not be left for long periods of time.
His carer reports: “This wonderful older man will make an amazing addition to any family. He is so gentle and is perfect around dogs and children. Apart from a few accidents, he is really obedient and well-trained. He walks well on a lead and never pulls. I can’t fault this lovely dog and really hope he will find the warm, loving forever home he truly deserves.
Update – Here is beautiful Frankie who is the sweetest, most gentle soul imaginable, although he can be less so when he’s out and sees some dogs and animals. This is understandable as he was a game keeper’s dog so trained to hunt. He’s absolutely adorable with my 4 dogs and with children. He does have some separation anxiety so would do better with other dogs where he’s not left for really long periods. I love him, as does everyone who meets him!”
Frankie has been neutered and has no known medical needs. Overall, he is extremely obedient, well-trained and would be the perfect addition to any home.
