14/04/18 – Jess has found her new home!

Jess is a wonderful older Collie girl who was brought into the care of Rain Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire after her owner sadly passed away. Jess has clearly been well loved and cared for, but is a little on the “rounder” side and would greatly benefit from shedding a few pounds.
Despite her age (and size!) Jess is still an active girl, and once she is a little fitter she’ll most likely enjoy being out and about exploring the world on some good walks. Jess doesn’t seem to be interested in other dogs, but can be a little intolerant if they are too boisterous with her. So, whilst she’d be content with some walking companions, she’d prefer to be the only dog in her new home please.
Jess isn’t used to being around very young children, so would be better suited to either an adult-only home or one with older children (secondary school age). As with most Collies she finds noise and too much hustle and bustle a little overwhelming.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion and would like to help Jess lose a few more pounds, please consider offering her a new home. She loves to be walked and deserves to have a long and happy retirement.
Jess is spayed and has no known medical conditions.
