Just ‘another little black dog’ in a crowd of similar dogs all looking for homes, no-one noticed Lenny, also known as Ravelli. He is a 9 year old, smallish Terrier cross who was caught by the dog catchers this year. Safe Rescue happily did notice him and quickly rescued him by bringing him to the safety of a foster home in Dereham, Norfolk.

Fortunately, it seems that Lenny hasn’t spent long enough in the shelter for the experience to have affected him, because he’s a really friendly little chap and adores people. He is just another small black dog, but his amazing temperament sets him apart.

Lenny is great with children and loves playing with other dogs. He is even fine with the chickens and has been charming with visitors to the house. He walks well on and off the lead, is quiet overnight and can be left for a few hours during the day with no issues.

Ideally, Lenny would like to live with another playful dog, but he could also be an only dog and soak up all the fuss he’s missed out on in his life up to now.
