4/11/18 – Milo has found a home!

Little Milo is a Patterdale Terrier cross of about 8 years, being rehomed by The Ark Animal Rescue on the Lincolnshire coast. This is through no fault of his own. His family’s circumstances changed, in a nice way.

He’d been settled in his previous home for the last 6 years, having been adopted from another rescue, but his family had limited space at home and recently had a new baby! Due to his natural prey drive, they feel they cannot take the risk, and it’s not fair on him to be excluded from certain parts of the home having been at the centre of it for so long… as it should be!

Milo is a very loving dog once he gets to know you. He’ll enjoy nothing more than curling up on your lap or next to you on the sofa for cuddles and tickles! He’s a bright boy, highly motivated by food/treats and walks. He hasn’t lived with children (until the baby was born) but has met little ones and just ignored them. He’s hasn’t lived with another dog but family dogs have stayed and has been fine with them, as well as with dogs he’s met when out on walks. He’d probably chase any cats he meets and he doesn’t like diesel vans or hi-viz clothing. Bless him!

Milo is house trained and can be left for a few hours. He needs a calm, experienced owner as he can be protective of his home when visitors come round. He also gets scared at the vets and needs to wear a muzzle. He travels well in the car and is generally good on the lead. He’s good off lead too. His recall is OK but a bit out of practice. He loves playing with tennis balls, almost as much as he loves snuggling up to his human!

Milo is neutered, vaccinated and healthy. He’s a very attentive and fun little companion. Can he come and live with you?
