1/6/18 – Scruffy and Trixie have found a home!
This dinky duo are Scruffy (left) is an 11 year old Yorkie boy and his best friend Trixie (right), a 9 year old Yorkie x JRT girl. They’re in foster care in South Birmingham through Wonky Pets Rescue.
Scruffy and Trixie were handed in by their owner who could no longer care for them. They have been together since they were pups and are looking for a home where they can stay together.
They are an active pair, especially Trixie. They love to have a play together and when they’ve tired each other out, they’ll snuggle up together to go to sleep!
Scruffy isn’t interested toys but Trixie loves a squeaky to be thrown for her. They are both loving, affectionate little dogs who love lots of fuss and to sit on the sofa with you.
Scruffy and Trixie enjoy their walks and will need an owner who’s active enough to take them on two good walks a day. Both are good with other dogs so walking them is a pleasure. They travel quite well in the car and will enjoy going to different places for adventures.
They can be considered for homes with dog savvy children aged 10 years and over. They could live with other dogs but they’re not good with cats or small furries – typical terriers!
They are OK to be left alone for a few hours with each other for company but wouldn’t want to be left all day. Both dogs are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
